Together with Swiss Koo, new accents will be set - and the athletes will be offered an exclusive highlight: The best among them can look forward to a strictly limited cuckoo clock in the “Boulder World Cup Bern 2025 Edition”. This special edition is more than just a trophy - it stands for precision, endurance and the special character of bouldering, embedded in a piece of lived Swiss identity.
This partnership combines two worlds: the power and dynamism of bouldering with the timeless aesthetics and precision engineering of a design object. A sign that the World Cup in Bern not only sets new standards in terms of sport, but also culturally and emotionally.
The Swiss Koo manufactory
Founded in October 2013 in Renens in the Lausanne region, Swiss Koo specializes in the manufacture of wooden pendulum and cuckoo clocks. The clocks are manufactured and designed in the spirit of traditional craftsmanship, while integrating a narrative design concept and using modern manufacturing techniques.
The term tableaux horlogers is often used to describe these products. Great care is taken in the manufacturing process; all mechanical models are signed. The use of materials such as wood and brass is a characteristic feature of the product line.
The manufacture of the cases, the turning of the weights, the gilding and the coloring are carried out by partner companies, most of which are based in western Switzerland. The craftsmanship know-how of these partners is increasingly incorporated into the development of the clocks.
All cuckoo clocks are designed to last and their construction is based on alpine chalets. They are assembled without glue or staples, using only wooden dowels, and contain mechanical or quartz movements.
